Our International Student Program started in the late 1990s with only a small number of students. Now we have a growing and vibrant program which has hosted students from many countries including China, South Korea, Germany, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, Iran, Macao, Hong Kong, and Taiwan to name but a few.

The majority of our international students participate in the ‘Graduate program’. These students intend to graduate from Kenmore High at the end of Year 12, with most then going on to further study at an Australian university. Some international students participate in a ‘Study abroad’ program, a much shorter school experience (three months to one year in length), which is more focused on experiencing Australian school life and culture.

Kenmore High is a culturally diverse school. We value the contribution that international students make to our school. If you are interested in enrolling as an international student at Kenmore High, enrolments must be made through Education Queensland International (EQI).

Students enrolling through EQI are subject to EQI policies and procedures.

While enrolled at Kenmore, if you wish to travel, undertake activities or sightsee, please refer to the EQI travel procedure to ensure that your proposed travel meets EQI requirements.

EQI Holiday Adventure Programs are a safe way for EQI students to travel and sightsee during their EQI program. Places are limited, so ensure that you register early by completing the appropriate application form.
We look forward to welcoming you.
