Kenmore State High School is a highly regarded school in the Western suburbs of Brisbane. Founded in 1972, the school has grown to an enrolment of 1680 in 2011. The school is located in a very attractive setting on the delightful Moggill Creek. The local community is very supportive of our school and encourages its young people to pursue education as a priority.
Kenmore enjoys an excellent reputation and has outstanding achievements across the academic, cultural, citizenship and sporting areas. We have outstanding staff who have contributed much to the lives of our students over the years. Inspirational teaching and quality learning are cornerstones of our school.
The school is recognised for excellence in the academic arena, with our students scoring very high consistently and often above State and International means. We have a number of signature programs that offer specialist opportunities from our German Immersion program to each of our Arts programs, our laptop program and the Saturday morning GBS sport competition.
