Temporary Part-Time Administration Officer (A02)
Kenmore State High School is inviting applications for a temporary Administration Officer working with our dynamic administration team, supporting staff and students. The position is 16 hours per week (Monday – Thursday) starting early in Term 2 until 13 September 2024, with the possibility of extension.
Your Opportunity:
Working as an Administration Officer at Kenmore State High School you will:
- Undertake routine administrative duties.
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Communicate effectively and display a high level of interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Report to the HR Manager.
About the Role:
As an Administration Officer you will:
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and word documents.
- Assist with phone enquiries from staff and parents.
- Administer first aid to students and monitor the internal incident phone.
- Undertake general administration duties, filing, and other requests consistent with the roles and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or Business Manager.

Casual Schools Officer
Kenmore SHS is seeking expressions of interest to assist the Facilities Officer with a range of day to day activities that may include preparing classrooms for exams and regular school activities; moving/arranging furniture and seating; attending to repairs and maintenance in the school; undertaking ground improvement and enhancement activities; prepare and general care of all outdoor sporting facilities, and other suitable duties as directed by the Facilities Officer, or Business Manager.
A mandatory requirement of the role is the possession of a Working With Children Blue card issued by Blue Card Services.
This role is on a needs basis and the minimum hours worked per day is 2 hours. The casual hourly rate is between $35.98 to $39.49 per hour, dependent on existing qualifications.

Casual School Cleaner
Kenmore State High School is currently seeking a casual on-call school cleaner for general housekeeping and cleaning duties. You will be working in a team but responsible for a range of different areas throughout the school which could consist of classrooms, bathrooms, offices and outside areas.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- General housekeeping and cleaning duties - this will vary depending on what is required.
- Must be physically fit and able to meet the demands of the job. Please note that work will include bending, lifting and cleaning across the large campus.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is preferable but not essential.
- We are looking for reliable, hardworking and trustworthy individuals who have good attention to detail, can work independently, and take pride in their work.
- Must have a Blue Card or be willing to get one.
- Must have own car/transport.
